Hi just rejoined after a few years, my partner hasn't ridden for 18 years so thought the c90 was the ideal start back bike (and I wanted another one!)
The one I bought seems fairly sound but the centre stand was a bit corroded so managed to get a replacement
My question is and probably a common one how can I get the shaft out?
Is it one piece right through to the rear brake pedal?
Tried WD40, plus gas, heat no luck
Larger hammer?
Cheers

Re: New member!
Welcome it will not come out buy a new shaft, cut the old one out.
Not what you wanted to hear but it is the only way ,then grease the new one and oil it often.
Stick a rough location in your details and get to the Isle Of Wight meet in August.

Well managed to cut the old centre stand off went to fit new one and it is totally different!
Centre pin diameter is way smaller and return spring lug is on the opposite side I guess I have bought the stand for a later model?

Ok then Bridport in your details and the year of the bike ,the stands did not change for the C50/70 and 12 volt bike ,I have a C70zz stand on my C90. Wemoto list most years ,I have their page stored in bookmarks for each of my bikes ,it makes it easy to find what parts are available before i look all over Ebay.

Good to see more southern c90's on here, me and a pal are just down the road just outside Bournemouth and are out and about for rides on the cubs and other bikes when we can. We like Portland and surrounding areas...
