Re: Ultimate touring stepthrough
Article is over three years old and pre-dates the dieselgate scandal. Doubt it would ever pass Euro emission levels, so maybe it went no further than a concept? Dogsbody

I would like one of those. Need to sort the speed out, unless they got kmh and mph confused.

Re: Ultimate touring stepthrough
looks like dumb hipster-like piece of shit.
135 kg is alot!
95-99 kg of cubs is about to max of useful to handle it easy.
13.5 hp and top speed of 70 kph? what a idiotism?
5-6 hp gasoline engine on my chinese clone give me about 80 - 85 kph top speed!
there is also questions about what diesel engine that was - if it is modern, common rail and with lot of electronics, its durability is much worse than simple and old petrol engine.
not to saying about turbocharger - it was too not improve durability.
not a word about fuel consumption - one of best things in cubs...
in one word - thrash from dumb, fancy-like journalists, i suppose...
old-tech fully mechanical about 200 - 250cc cast iron diesel engine with about 10 hp was very best option for cub, if it can be packed in relatively small weight - say, no more than 110 kg around, but not those circus...
