Innova speedo
Does the speedo work from the gearbox on an Innova? I can't see any sensors on the front wheel and there is no mechanical speedo drive obviously. If it works from the gearbox, changing the gearing would affect the readout wouldn't it?

Re: Innova speedo
Your right there is a sensor in the gearbox, I've changed the front sprocket on mine and it's about 4mph out at 50mph, when compared to the satnav.

Mine's the same and I haven't changed the sprocket. Looking at the Haynes manual, you have to remove the engine to get at the speed sensor.

Re: Innova speedo
Thanks for the answers chaps. I've fitted a pitbike engine in mine so I suppose it's back to the old bicycle shop for a speedo!
