Depending on how much foam is in the seat he can offer two solutions, either remove some of the foam and replace it with memory foam and use the original sest cover, or as I did because i sit so far back have the seat levelled and built up 1" as the innova seat didn't have a lot of foam were I sit, so had to go for A new cover, using the original cover is the cheapest option, if you make an appointment he will tailer the seat to you.

No not that tailored...just tailored for height and where your normal seating position is ect ensure the foam gets put in the right place.

Tony Archer in Huddersfield well worth a look. He's done a couple of seats for me and does an excellent job at a good price. He can reprofile, add gel inserts as well as standard recovering. Have a look at his web site if you're in the North of England.

I don't understand why seats are such a problem nowadays, I've never had a problem with any bike seat dated from the pre-WW1 stuff through to the 1990's.
Never had a problem with saddles, they are all pretty much the same with mattress springing and a wadding/leather cover, then came 'dual seats' which are just a slab of foam on a flat base - worked fine.
Most comfortable seat I had was on a Vespa T5 - looked like a loaf of bread but was fully mattress sprung with a wadding cover and that was brilliant.
Then all of a sudden seats had to be moulded to the shape of the bike and suddenly a new industry of 'reworking' seats with gell inserts and re-profiling is needed before you can sit on it for a day.
If spring cast iron tractor seats were used by farmers every day all year round then it's not down to padding.

Re: Innova comfort upgrades
I agree Dave.
I had no trouble with seats English and Jap for 50 years until I got my BMW. I don't think the problem was all seat padding but also the relationship between bars, foot pegs and seat. Also my legs are getting shorter or the BMW "low seat" was too high. I can't believe that in 2017 so few motorbikes lack meaningful seat/pedal/bar adjustment.
The cub saddle was re-covered to better than standard because it had the usual cracks and splits.
