Thanks

Yes, it is.

kayz1, I will work out the postage this week and I will let you know when I'm ready for sending the parcel.

After reading all the post, I guess that the ones that would Fit Latin America models would be the C90E model, It would be for one like this one (mine is in the workshop and I'm at the office without any real picture of mine so it's just for reference)

George, I already asked you this but can you ask for the cheapest way to send over the full Rickman kit to Colombia? I'm more than decided to get one :D (hope with stickers too!)

I'm not like in a situation to spend but I could make an effort, Can't wait to have the only Cub with a Rickman fairing + screen in my country!

Hello Lyn, happy that it has arrived safely and you're happy with it. I do not make these screens, I am just buying them from Rickman and selling them to the forum without making a profit in the process. That's all I do, but I'm happy you appreciate the effort and hope you like your new screen.

Regards. G.M.

On another matter, when I was delivered the last batch of screens, they've sent me an extra fairing for the round headlamp Cub. So Lyn's kit came with an extra white fairing. I only noticed this after a few weeks from the delivery date and I only called Rickman last week (that is when I was preparing Lyn's parcel). Told them that they've accidentally sent me an extra white fairing and they really appreciated my call. They said that I can keep the fairing at no extra cost (I offered to pay for it) so I did. I still have it and I did not advertised it. I want to keep the no profit policy in place so since I got it for free, I thought that someone who can't afford one would be interested. I can get the clear screen and the fittings for it so it's a complete kit. I will be busy in getting the Africa Twin ready for a trip to Romania to see my friends back home in August, but will try to be active here on this post and will try to order the extra bits/send the kit to whoever wants it as soon as possible.

So let me know if anyone is interested and I hope that whoever express their interest in this fairing is genuinely wishing one and can't afford it.

Thank you.

George M.

:) Just nice to be able to help a lovely community and their amazing bikes.

So this is the white fairing:

I can get the clear screen for about 25 pounds and maybe a tenner for the fittings. I really need to ask for the exact price for each as I haven't bought any spares lately. I will leave this here and will keep checking the thread. PS: This is not advertised on the FB group.

George... Such a lovely thread! :D

Yes, we're not for profit. That said, helping folk inevitably occurs costs, and I'm not talking about time, which we all give freely.

There's phone calls, packing, petrol to collect stuff, etc. etc.

So to that end, I would simply sell the surplus screen and feel no guilt over it. Means testing someone for suitability of a donation really isn't feasible, and likely as not, given the morals of folk in general it's entirely possible you'll donate it for it to be sold on, and that would not make you feel good!

And folk only help other folk, as you do, when they feel good about it! So don't fret about the detail, you're doing much to help folks, and long may it continue, :D

I agree - nobody should feel guilty about covering their costs, or putting a value on excessive time put in, which looks like it might be the case here

Totally agree with Newt! There is one of these on eBay, been on for ages I thinks, for £160!

I keep looking at it and wondering if it would fit the Kayak, all depends on the positioning of the indicator holes and how the bottom fixings could be secured. I need to compare it with a roundlight bike - hopefully someone will have one on the Hardknott Pass run on Sunday!

This especially relevant at the moment as I have just been out on the Kayak and got caught in a downpour. Sitting here steaming!
