compression tester adapter C90/CG

Post by Alan CF » Sat Jul 01, 2017 8:24 am

Got one of these the other day, Fits both bikes,
I thought the 10mm part might stick through and let the piston give it a clout, But its no where near, :D

Bargain at £5.99 free post.

Does the extra protrusion into the combustion chamber make the compression reading higher as its reducing the compression area and therefore increasing the compression ratio :)

Good Question,
When i screwed it into the CG head the extension sat about flush with the threads when screwed in, All i can think of is that the CG spark plugs have a longer reach thread, So they made this shorter and the 10mm extension compensates.
