The baton has been passed over to the other variant that sells on eBay but not sure if anybody on here has one?
Yep, there's at least one (bikerbaker) and probably more.
One other that I know of but not sure if it's on the road yet.
No great problems yet but not done a lot of mileage. Lovely bright headlight (always on!). I'm happy.

Are you pleased with the bike overall?

Front brake light - lever sender
Newtsalad wrote:Hi Kev, presume it's not much different to the Cubs? If you have electrics up to the front brake lever, you may see where a small 'switch' :? pokes out and contacts the brake lever?

Easy replaced and not expensive.
Has anyone got a picture of this ? I cant see it on mine ? and the nice MOT man says should have one..

regards

Kev

Anybody know what the correct replacement battery is?

Mine is still hanging on in there but I think it's days are numbered...

Get a stock cub size one as it should fit if you file a bit away by the battery breather.
This is a cub battery in the riders frame and you can see where the breather hits it,this is the kickstart only battery dont know what the e/s one is like if yours has one.

Hi Steve,
It "looks similar" to the original one fitted.

When I was looking on eBay they all appeared to be a square shape for the Honda but that was presumably just a stock picture.

Mine seems to be charging up fine bit wasn't liking extended turning over to start up the engine.

If you don't start my bike for a while it's very reluctant to fire up - start it regularly and no problem at all but it had been quite a few months.

Noticed that the EGR tubing has split and is splitting in several places as well - been taped up for now but I guess complete removal with be the next job on the cards :?

Anybody here removed the EGR system and have any comments?

Removing the egr used to be a tune up tip.

S'not egr is it? I thought it was adding fresh air into the exhaust so the cat has some oxygen to burn?

No, it's EGR, got a Riders exhaust on my Honda Cub, definitely no cat in it, £25.53 new from Riders of Yeovil last year when they were selling off stock at half price before outing what was left as a job lot. Fits perfectly, has no detrimental effect on performance, if anything it seems a fraction quicker off the mark. Rode all through winter on salted roads, chrome still perfect! :D

The simple answer is use it more often! Fuel may have deteriorated sitting around as well. :D
