Hi yes.. Its the quite large black metal frame that holds the reg plate...?
He mite have it... but at that price I would want it...
The last 70 I had was more fun to ride than the 90zz I had...

Re: Is there a part missing from this bike?
I believe this reg plate is bolted directly to the frame lugs...
When the original mounting frame is used it alters the angle of the plate to be more vertical...
Dose anyone know if the plate was aluminium in 1981...?
It mite have been easier to bolt a new plastic plate to the lugs instead of the frame...?
I'm not sure, but on a totally original bike I would want the correct frame fitted...
Mite just be me being picky?.. The other thing I don't like is painted bolt heads...
When not discontinued the Parts for these bikes are going more expensive by the day that's for sure...

This is how the plate on my c50lac is bolted on with the frame.
Sameish frame used on 6v and 12v tintail bikes.

Remember it's a UK adaptation as most parts of the world have smaller registration plates than we have on motorcycles.
US an Jap market models won't have them, the plates would be secured to the mudguard pressing directly.
