mk2 caddy van £700... Swap for c90?

Post by supercub » Sat Aug 20, 2011 7:55 pm

Right due to some unforseen circumstances.
Im no longer going to have room for a car, Or at least one i care about..

The girlfriend is getting a company car so wont be any room for my humble mk2 van ...

I dont want to park this on the road if i can help it.. And ill no longer have the room to work on it.

ID DEFINATLY CONSIDER SWAP FOR MOTORBIKE/MOPED/ HONDA 90/ CHEAP CRAPPY CAR I CAN PARK IN THE STREET

Model: MK2 VW CADDY SDI
Year: 1997
Mileage: 68,000
Tax: DEC 2011
MOT: 26/ 11/ 11
Location: EASTLEIGH , HANTS
Price: 700

Had this van a few months, Bought it with the intention of fitting air shocks on the back and a towbar to tow my boat, But havnt got that far and it needs to go..

GOOD BITS:

* EX RSPCA VAN, So realy low milage!!!

*BLACK RACING, japanese made wanatabe replicas, With toyo proxes r888 street legal slicks on.

*NEW CLUTCH AND CABLE 2 MONTHS AGO

*ELECTRIC WINDOWS

*NEW COILOVERS AT THE SAME TIME

*ELECTRIC PORSCHE HALF LEATHER TOMBSTONES (WORKING)

*NEW OIL IN GEARBOX

*NEW DIESEL FILTER LAST WEEKEND

*AIRBAG

*POWERSTEERING

*SERVICED TWO WEEKS BEFORE I BOUGHT IT, Although no reciept for this...

*COMES WITH SWAN NECK TOWBAR (NEVER FITTED)

*ORIGINAL WHEELS AND TYRES CAN BE INCLUDED FREE OF CHARGE.

*Been deadly reliable for the time ive had it. And starts better than my 2009 plate work van..

*AUSTIN SEVEN PISTON GEARKNOB

BAD BITS

*RUSTY BITS. (SEE BELOW FOR MORE INFO)

The rust situation is as follows..

Theres some rust and a hole near the drivers side rear spring hanger, (behind the rear bumper)

and a hole under the drivers seat

Annoying but well worth doing. given the milage and things done to the van.... I was fully intending to do it but it dont have the time. The car will be arriving in the next week as far as i know. And ill be very limited to space. :-(

I think ive priced it pretty cheap considering the work gone into it , The new parts and the milage. With a small amount of welding its should be great again.
