I've never known so much interest in a pair of old trousers.

Now if they had once been worn by Ms Bardot in her 'bikini years', then it would be understandable.....

Must admit, only having small bikes these days the only 'bike' kit I wear is a crash hat. On some of the more remote rides from my time in Scotland I'd remove my helmet for a few miles and ride ahhh bliss.

Why is it that midges are not mentioned in any of the Scotlands historical records?

Either:

1) They did not exist before recent times?

2) They were so commonplace that they were not worth mentioning?
