Honda spares supplier
Just found this Honda spares outlet on the Honda Superdream forum, don't know if they are any good but they have a few good comments from the Superdreamers.

Splendid, if he's a good dealer it's a good job he's on the list.

never had a issue with them, if they dont have the parts instock but you (insist) on the other parts sent then they will charge extra,
(they let you know this) but ive always waited for all the parts to come in before they despatched,
they are more costly but do have seam to have the no longer available part on there shelves instead of silvers

Re: Honda spares supplier
I've used CMSNL once and they sent me a faulty part. It was an easy mistake to make but I had difficulty resolving it because of the language barrier.
Quite reasonably, I had to explain exactly what was wrong with the part, an expensive cylinder barrel, and why I wouldn't consider using it.
I was disappointed with the attitude of the person answering the emails (or 'tickets', I think they call them). They took two weeks to reply and that reply boiled down to 'We can't be bothered to take a few minutes to translate your message. Send it again'.
They replaced the rusty barrel in the end, but took took a long time.
But I would use them again if I had to, especially because their warehouse, or consortium of warehouses, nowadays seems to contain much of Europe's stock of obsolete Honda parts. Just don't expect a rapid service and instant, clear communication from them. They seem to do business all over the world, so they can't be too bad.
John Oldfield I can thoroughly recommend. He has spend a lot of time advising me about aspects of Honda Cub engineering and has done an excellent crankshaft rebuild and rebore for me. He actually asked me for the o/s piston I was going to use to he could adjust the rebore exactly to suit that piston. I don't know if this is standard practise, but his attention to detail impressed me.

Another thing about CMSNL. I have used their website dozens of times to look at parts diagrams. They seem to have all the Cub parts books on line. This is really useful to compare different models of Cubs to see which parts are interchangeable. I say a big 'Thank you' to whoever had the patience and stamina to upload all those parts manuals. Maybe that's why they're sometimes too knackerd to read and anser messages from customers

yes you measure about 5mm up from the skirt of the piston to set the cutting tool in the micrometer to fit in the cutting head of the boring bar,bikehunter10 wrote:He actually asked me for the o/s piston I was going to use to he could adjust the rebore exactly to suit that piston. as for cmsnl, i also use them as a parts book, there website is fantastic for that, pos not the only one who does,
then i google the part number or cross ref with silvers...
Re: Honda spares supplier
I do the same with Lings.
I have ordered from Lings 2 or 3 times due to the postage costs !
