2 x Tyres for sale - can bring them to Rhayader

I have two brand new Continental KKS 10 moped tyres, size 2.50 X 17 which I do not need and they are for sale at £20 for the pair of them.

I bought them last winter intending to use them on the C90 as a winter tyre with chunky tread but also with good grip on wet roads too. What I didn't notice before I'd paid for them was that the speed rating is 30mph max, so they can only be fitted to a moped or C50 type machine.

If anyone is interested I can bring them to Rhayader. If more than one person wants them it is a first come first served sale. I am hoping to get to Rhayader on Thursday. This post is on Cub90 and C90Club boards, please let me know if you are interested in them because I don't want to lug them all the way to Wales and then bring them back again.

Hello mate, No I don't know how much they would cost to send up to you. I am going to be very busy between now and when I go to Rhayader at the weekend. When I get back next week I may have a chance to find out but another very busy period is on the cards for two weeks. If I am not able to get a price before then I'm afraid it is going to be early August before I can get the courier costs sorted. Sorry to be such a pain and an unhelpful git, but if I still have them in early August I'll message you. Are you desperate for them or can you wait?

Balls, I just literally put a brand new set of these onto my c90, paid for them to be fitted as well, are they really only rated to 30mph, that seems ludicrous?!

If they are marked Moped they are not suitable for a 90 ,if this is the case go back to the suplier fitter and get them changed .

I wouldn't put them on a C100. They're rated to 30mph and a C100 can do about 45.

Aye. A professional supplier / fitter should have warned you they're not suitable for a road legal C90 before fitting them to such. I'm sure you have rights to have them replaced with something correct, and not at your expense (apart from the price difference in the tyres)
