Honda c90 FRAME
I have a C90 frame (1986-->) it was given me along with a rusty red C90 which I was going to restore but changed my mind and sold it on.
The frame has corrosion but not structural, the suspension strut area is solid. However there is some corrosion along the inside seam of the tail wheel arch, but this can be fixed with a little metal weld from Halfords. It looks like there was once a different size engine put in this frame because there is a couple of extra bolty holes drilled into the engine mounting area.
There is no V5 but I have applied for one from the DVLA but I cannot guarantee they will issue one as I know nothing of the frame's history.
The frame also comes with its centre stand.
I can email photos if interested and will try and upload some here later
Not after much..open to offers

Re: Honda c90 FRAME
The DVLA returned my V5 application asking for the registration number of the bike (which I've not got) Talking to others they have had no problem getting a V5 with just the frame number so I guess its the luck of the draw.

(there's also a moped ride out) if anyone wants to meet up..

Re: Honda c90 FRAME
re getting the logbook, you need to fill in a form called a V55/5 if you have no reg number,
but the bike has to be complete and have a mot on the frame number,
also you need to insure the bike as well as the dvlc will want to issue road tax at the same time.
it will cost you about £75 (with the road tax).... so bare this in mind when you think your buying a cheap bike of ebay...
or stripping a bike and bin the old plate....( cable tie her to the frame) becouse if your memory is like mine
your soon forget were you put the logbook or scrap of paper with the info on it
ive done 2 MT5s but they were worth doing,
ha....i forgot to say you will also need to prove the year of manufacture, (they wont take your word for it) they need a certificate from a reg organisation
ie; NACC OR VJMC this will cost about £10/£15 as well.....

Didn't think anyone would be interested after my last post about there being no V5doc and no one PMd me with any offers etc. CONROD-FITTER has now expressed interest.
I'll give an update soon.
