88cc kit for a 50 - £60ono (SOLD)

Post by mylittletony » Fri Nov 25, 2016 2:14 pm

Hi all,

I bought this a little while ago with a view of a quick performance hike for my Jialing 50. However, I discovered I'd have to machine the cases which takes it out of the "quick" category and why it's for sale.

It's new, unboxed and never been fitted. I've also got some gaskets to go with it.

An alloy cylinder, 63mm long with a 52mm piston and rings to turn your 50 or 70 into an 88cc fire breather. It's missing a piston pin clip, but from what I've read here it's better to use Honda ones anyway. It's got 49cc markings on the barrel

Please ask away with any questions. I'm asking £60ono for the package including UK mainland postage

Hi Tony, or anyone else that might know (Alan??)
I'd be interested if this will fit on my 2006, 49cc Little Cub.

What do you reckon ??

This looks to be the right type to fit your little cub as the piston looks to be the 12v type as it was made for the Jialing 50 with the shallower combustion chamber than the earlier 6v heads, but think this may need a 70/90 head going off the dome on the piston.
Any 12v 70/90 head should fit it fine,Honda or pitbike copy would/should work.

Hi everyone

I can't answer for sure, but I've given some more dimensions on an earlier thread:
http://c90club.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=29519

That head was from a generic 90 engine and looks visually the same as the head from the jialing 50 (actually a bored down 70)
I'm happy to take any further measurements needed.

Hope that helps

I'm afraid I don't know. When I bought it, there was no branded packaging... If you know where to look for any markings I can check for you

cheers

I would think a 110cc head from a kit like petrol scooter sell would be a good fit 51 mm and roller bearing cam.
