Not too late as I said in the PM. Called on Friday... thinking now, I don't really know why I did that... probably because I was at work and it didn't feel like a Good Friday to me, didn't get an answer... obviously. Will call back today and I will post the prices on here as soon as I have them.

Steve, the person that I talk to at Rickman, he is in the hospital today for some investigations. Will call again tomorrow.

Finally got the prices... 3 phone calls later...



So besides the top box that has the same price as last year, everything else gone up by 10%.

So the complete kits are now £92.4, £30.888 for the screens, £19.608 for the fixings.

Shipping to me would be around £16 he said... created this spreadsheet which calculates the total cost/user. So if I'm having 2 clear screens and 1 fixing kit, together with the postage divided by the number of users, it would set me back £83.384.

I think that's expensive, what does everyone else think? Will have to order my bits as I need them so I will go ahead with all the bits that I was considering initially.

I would love cheaper but your still cheaper than people who hang onto this stuff then sell for silly money on eBay

In that case do you want me to hold fire on the order? I could talk to Rickman and tell them to ship it on the 20th of April for example. This would also help us get them sooner as they might need to bake some of the fairings/boxes that they don't have on stock.

Another problem is the amount. I would need the £500+ in Japan. If I order the fairings, I might need to pay there and then. I will try to negotiate to pay on my return from my trip, but can't promise anything.

So more things to consider. I will call Rickman and come back to you.

Sorted. Ordered everything and will pay when these are all done and ready for shipping. So no need to worry about the money just now.

Another thing... they can change the colour of the gel coat on the ”fibres of glass”. The fairings are a bit more expensive if we choose to do that... they have a light grey and a darker shade of grey... didn't ask if I can get 48 shades of grey in between as I am not into that $#!t...

The Rickman top boxes are free of charge if one chooses to change the colour. They have 3 shades of blue... a sky blue, a light blue and a dark blue. They can get it post office red I think, probably green, yellow, orange.

I did ask kindly to send me a picture with the colours and they said they will send one on Monday... (not sure about that).

They are very busy and they have no stock... probably will start working on these in a couple of weeks and it will take another couple to have them completed. (Everything done by hand in the case of the fibreglass. The acrylic screens are made within 3 days and the fixings are in stock and ready for shipping).

Is anyone interested in having their top boxes painted black? Or many more other colours? kayz1 & Viper254? If you want these white, I will tell them that is a go on white and with the order. Will try to find out the colour options for the gel coat still.
