also be aware that sending parts back to HI Level can be a pain in the bum, If you order the wrong part or its sent by them it all needs posting back, post costs all eat in to the non profit you make. :(

And i think they now charge you for the Big yellow parts book. :?:

Do you have a Hi-Level part number for the whole thing? If I can get it cheaper, it would be great.

Had a conversation over the phone yesterday with the supplier and I will find out today about the screen/blade price and some other business trade information. Will keep you posted.

Jim, I've called Hi-Level just now and demanded more info on these screens. They've told me that they don't make them any more. The only one they have nowadays for the C90 has the P/N 269990 and it is a handlebar mounted one :

So Hi-Level is a dead end.

Ok... heard back from them.

The screens/blades are £23.40 + VAT (£28.08 with VAT) per screen.

Asked about business trading and they can do a credit system as in I buy what I want and I will be invoiced at the end of the next month for what I've bought the previous month or something like that. I told them that this credit system was not my reason for asking since I would like to pay upfront for the goods I need and the reason that I've asked was to see if I could get a better price. He told me that we need to have some history before they consider that.

So these are the prices at which I can get these at. Bear in mind that I have paid £62.45 for the screen and the shipping the last time I've dropped my Cub...

Let me know if you are interested in having something since I am thinking to order what I need and what Sean needs.

PS: I forgot to ask about the shipping cost for the screens... I imagine that it will work at about the same price. A tenner-ish...

Cheers!

George M.

The C90E is made between 1984-1986. So that means you have a square light 12V model. Will this be the correct screen for you?

Is the spacing between indicators right? This is what I will order.

You have to jump through quite a few hoops to get a Hi Level account George, I wouldn't get too excited. You need a business bank account, Invoices from other suppliers to your business, and a photo of the outside of your premises..... For a start.

Then, truth be known, by the time you've done all this, with all the hassle, returns, registered as a business, kept accounts to keep the tax square, taken public liability insurance etc, you'll be right back up there with what other people are charging.

If we can get dimensions from the edge of the front light, to the start of the indicator or similar then I can check. But if what Newt is saying is true, we may be stymied and I'll just have to accept the ludicrous ebay pricing. :(

Tricky one that the 84 /86 was a low indicator model after that they were high. You can retro fit either but for a low to high indicator swap you will need new brackets.
