Had to Strike!
Ok, after stupidly missing out on some stuff recently I've just struck a deal for 2 engines 2 wheels and a box of other C90 parts!
I know nothing about them? the guy doesn't even know if their 6 volt or 12 volt! I've got a hunch their 6 volt, Who cares for £60
Let you know more later

Re: Had to Strike!
An '83 C50 could be a C50C (12v imported from Feb '82) in which case the 12v C90 engine is more or less plug-and-play........HarrisoN* wrote:im i negotitation on a 83 c50,which c90 engine would be a straight swap?-guessin' the 12 volt...

....or a C50ZZ (6v imported to March '83) or C50L (single seat version of ZZ imported to June '83) in which case the 12v C90 engine will fit in, but you'd have to convert the bike's electrics to 12v cdi.
If you've seen a picture of it, external fuel tank means it's a 6v, enclosed tank means 12v.
A 6v C90 engine won't fit any C50 no matter what you do!!!

Re: Had to Strike!
If there's a C90 exhaust valve in the box of parts, can I buy it off you?
