2001 C90 for Sale £325
Its Red, its from 2001, it shows 48k on the clock (but likley not all on this engine). Its very clean overall starts first time on the kick start ( its not an electric start despite the badge) but it has sadly just failed its MOT, and now has no Tax (£16). Given the marks on the headset and the original sales invoice it was initially bought and used as a knowledge bike ( trainee Cabbie) which would support the mileage. It has a Rickman top box / rack included as well.
For an MOT Pass it will need:
Chain Loosening
New Battery (£20?)
New Shock absorbers (£40?)
New / 2nd hand Rear wheel ( its not completely round - probably my fat ass's fault as I guess its done the job the shocks were meant to ) - (£30-£65?)
2 new Tyres - (£30)
New spoke in front wheel (its slightly bent) - (£5?)
So for a competant DIY'er (I'm not -I break things when I try) a few hours work and about £125-£175 in parts and it should be good for another few years service. I would like £325 for it as is, sold as seen. I'm located in Sidcup in Kent / SE London.

Re: 2001 C90 for Sale £325
If crammy doesn't mind I'd like to add my bit?
I'm not in the market for another bike...no room apparently But I did cast my eye over the bike in question and I think with very little work it's a great bike. The frame is amazing! looks like new
The MOT guy was harsh I think, the rear shocks are bouncy but then Cub shocks ARE bouncy! A new battery would fix most of the MOT guys concerns.
Back wheels out of true because of a couple of dodgy spokes, may not need a new wheel, 2 new spokes might do it, similar with the front wheel.
As crammy says, it needs some time spent on it more than it needs money spent on it.
Hope you don't mind me sticking my oar in

Hey, more than welcome, thanks! As you say the MOT man was probably a bit harsh, but at least people know the worst case scenario. Ive know that in future Ill probably look back and regret selling, but Ive just gotta free up some space and my itchy ebay fingers keep coming close to a new purchase tha'tll need the space taken up by the C90Pjam wrote:If crammy doesn't mind I'd like to add my bit?

No one has put cash in my hand as yet, so yes, but I have one interested party who wants to come tonight and view with a view to purchase, so I'll update later once I know more, cheers.
