1973 6V C70 - 7000 Miles from new.....
We have up for sale this 1973 M Reg (YNH285M) 6V C70, only done 7000 miles from new, totally original paintwork, 2 original keys fit all 3 locks, dealer stamped handbook, some old MOTs and tax discs, was supplied new by Mick Berrill motorcycles in Northampton in 1973. Has had some cosmetics done....wheels, shocks, mirrors, GENUINE NOS Honda seat (not Thailand one!!) Outer engine covers have been powdercoated. Recent MOT, will tax it too.....asking £995
Bike was an Ebay purchase by me from Northampton back in 2008, and it's lived locally in York since then, mostly with Spikeyboy who is a member on here......
Am putting a new rear numberplate on it, and there is the original rack included, as are front and rear numberplates that it came with new, they are the reflectives with stick on letters and they look bloody awful!!!

Hi Newt, cheers for the approving nod on the bike and the ad.... given the pedigree of the bike it would have been a crime to touch the paintwork, but the poor thing was showing its years a bit with some pitted chrome that was beyond polishing, and the engine cases were very dull. The genuine seat is an item that's been up in the loft a few years in it's original dusty bag! It really has brightened up nicely, was glad to be able to use the original coloured plastic tops on the replacement rear shocks too.....In some ways it's a shame it's a 70, even though they are rarer they don't seem to get the following that the 50's and 90's do.....i'll be there at the end on Saturday to watch him finish, is a total lottery what he will make By the way, if he's in your watchlist, you are not alone....102 other people have the same idea....Newtsalad wrote:Nice bike Crunch! Hi KST13, not often I sell a bike, and really the number of watchers is immaterial, i'm sure quite a few of the watchers are from here, then you get the ones who 'have one tucked away in the shed' being curious and so on...it's the number of bidders that matter in the end! Funds from this little fella will just get ploughed straight back into the other bikes....wheels to be built, powder coating, vapour blasting, paint.....help David Silver buy another set of tyres for his Rolls Royce....it just goes on....KST13 wrote:looks like a few folk are determined to get that.

hi crunch, ive been following this 90 , http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 97.c0.m619
its almost exactly the same as mine but has only reached £103-! its only had 103 hits as its quite a way down the threads/pagesand has only had 2 bids
suerly its worth a lot more than that!, ive spent about £400- on mine , if its not worth much ill say goodbye to rebuilding 90,s--(storms off in a huff)
