1988 C90 Restored £1800

Post by Kirky1298 » Wed Dec 06, 2023 2:05 pm

1988 Honda C90 bare metal ground up restoration project that requires finished. (98% complete)
Very easy project, a couple of hours work will finish it off.
All parts supplied to complete.
Bare metal frame restoration, rear repair panel welded in, underside etch primed, painted, coated with Raptor bed liner, seam sealed and over painted. Frame internals treated and coated with Lanoguard.
Brand new CHonda 125cc 4speed semi auto engine fitted ( original engine supplied in perfect working order) custom stainless exhaust X 2 ( original exhaust supplied too )
Brand new rear swing arm fitted, all bushes and bearings replaced including front suspension arms.
Single saddle fitted but original seat also supplied.
New leg shield fitted.
Painted with 2k paint for toughness and durability.
I've owned the bike for around 15 years and originally bought it to do a charity ride that fell through.
Restored in March 2022 to fill my time when I was laid up with a broken foot.
The bike has been restored to a decent standard but I'm a DIY hobbyist, don't expect concourse condition.
Loads of restoration pictures available on request.
Located in central Scotland.
I'm a computer luddite and having trouble uploading pics to the forum. I'll see if I can sort a link out to the images.
Regards, Jok.

Absolutely correct but probably done that way for a known short kick before it hits the silencer :)

and if we are being critical I notice that the chain is not on the back sprocket. An alignment issue?

That's because it's got a brand new JT chain and sprocket set still to be fitted.
If you read the advert again it says 98% complete. A couple of hours to finish it off. I don't know your skill level but a blind cobbler could surely fit a chain & sprockets in 2 hours. 🤣🤣
In all honesty, I should probably just finish it off and get it MOT'd but I've got a garage full of bikes and need to thin out the herd to make room for a Voge 300 Rally that I've got my eye on. 😎👍
Therefore......
SENSIBLE OFFERS WOULD BE SERIOUSLY CONSIDERED.

I didn't know that JB, I stuck the original Honda lever on the new engine as it looked better and that's the way it came off the original engine. Kickstart clears the exhaust with no interference issues. 👍
