During lockdown I decided that I wanted to get my bike licence and bought a 125 Kawasaki. The guy who sold it to me also had this in his garage and a couple of weeks later – having binge-watched Ed March’s C90 Adventures on YouTube – I went back and bought it as a project.
I then spent many happy pandemic hours stripping it down and getting it all working properly. The exhaust studs were corroded and one had snapped off so the engine came out and was taken to have that professionally helicoiled. Apart from that, it was all in pretty good nick but it got new gaskets, a new exhaust and a complete carb clean anyway.
Fast forward to now I’ve failed to do my bike test, I’ve sold the other bike and common sense suggests that I’m not about to set out on any C90 adventures any time soon.
When I sold the Kawasaki I had it collected (my CBT has expired) MOT’d and serviced because I figured I’d be selling it to a youngster who’d just want to ride it. But given that this is what it is, I’m putting this here first to see if any Cub enthusiasts out there are interested in it.
