Unregistered c90 with 16 miles on clock
Hi I have seen an unregistered c90 for auction with just 16 miles on the clock.. Not sure what year but it has round headlight and in a nice grey
Its been stored away somewhere for years and would need commissioning obviously
Has anyone any idea what this would be worth please
I would use it and not just polish it.
It is kick start only
It is uk based

Re: Unregistered c90 with 16 miles on clock
Difficult to say as with the vagaries of economics it has several different uses to increase demand upon it.
1. The private collector
2. Transport museums and commercial ventures
3. Nostalgista (" used to have one/ should have bought one/ couldn't afford one at the time.)
4. Enthusiasts buying to ride
5. The investor/speculator
In an auction, two or more of any combination above could push it up way beyond its worth to others.
Also its status may put off certain of the 5 groups above. ie if it is unregistered it's likely to be difficult to impossible to get registered now. This might put off some, but not others.
My guess, budget at least £3k, more if it has a valid registration.

Sound advice, in the current climate 2.5k upwards I reckon.

The bike is a C90Z2 1977 to 79 , but i would ask what the rear tyre is as it looks new , and the VIN number could be checked , it looks very clean for a 40-year-old bike .

Never seen a Z2 in that colour in the UK
Have you got a good photo of the VIN plate showing it's number ?

Red blue or green were the colours for the Z2 bikes not elephant grey , it is a wrong one

It might not be unregistered just missing it's V5 and number plate
