I don't post much on here, mainly using it as reference (sorry!), but I bought 'Wilf' back in Feb 2012 after having a bit of a tumble on a bigger bike earlier that winter. I used him for commuting through all weathers and he's been an absolute hero... I've giggled that much on a bike before
Unfortunately the rust monster has got to him, and as a result he failed his last MOT due to corrosion around the rear suspension mounts (just after he's been treated to a spanking new exhaust too). He's been sat in my Dad's shed ever since whilst I decided what to do, and after a bit of research, I've come to the conclusion it's probably a bit too much work for me. I'm hoping someone on here might be able to save him?
Mileage is 27199, everything works as it should, although he doesn't have a battery fitted (one went wrong on me, and I found out it ran fine without one..), he is a little tatty in places (e.g. the seat!) but solid enough. Comes with a pile of old documents, and owners manual, the original Honda service book (complete with Owners Card) with stamps going back to 1988.
I'm based in Bristol, I've put £500 in the topic (as it said I had to put a price?), but I'm open to offers..
