Honda C90 2001 £350 SOLD
Blue and with a refurbed engine (done by Nutter GLC, a member here).
It’s been on SORN for about 4 years now and stored down in my front cellar. I’ve just fitted a brand new battery and put in fresh fuel and it started first kick after not being started for about 18 months. Hub describes its ease of starting as “You’ve only got to look at it and it goes”.
It’s been covered in grease so looks quite grubby but it’s all there inc wing mirror, side stand and adjustable rear shocks. It also has a blue rickman topbox on the desirable ‘pannier friendly’ rear rack. The saddle has a small hole. The front tyre was quite new prior to it going down into the cellar as were the front brake pads.
As it’s on SORN and therefore not MOT’d, taxed or insured I can’t put it out on the road so it won’t be able to be test ridden but I can assure you that everything was working as it should before it went into ‘hibernation’. Indeed, I was going to use it to drive from London to Rhayadar and the only reason that I didn’t was because I was surprised with another bike. (A leccy start paid for with horse winnings) The only place I could store it off road was down in my front basement so it will need to be carried up the steps to road level and then transported in some way to your home.
I see no reason why it shouldn’t pass it’s MOT.
It’s not the prettiest of bikes but it is solid and a good reliable runner. V5 in my name.
Any questions, please ask.

Re: Honda C90 2001 £350
It's been sitting out there for too long now, it needs to get a new life.
It's not a 'looker', it's a refurbed engine and the buyer can't test ride it so is buying it blind. He/she has to take my word that it's a good runner. He/she also needs to manhandle it up from the cellar and have a van or a car to take it home in and then get it MOT'd.
Taking all that into account plus any small issues that might crop up from being stuck down there, open to the elements, I think it's a fair price. Maybe I could have gone higher but it needs to go ASAP.
It's become vulnerable where it is and as Hub says (when he starts it) it wants out, it wants the open road.

SOLD. And collected.
It's going to be a commute bike and a gopher for a guy who does motorcycle racing.

Re: Honda C90 2001 £350
It went to a buyer on FB. Very quickly! Paid for and collected within 2 hours.
There's been a lot of discussion about it's price so this is my statement on how I came to that amount.
"To be honest, I couldn't be faffed with people coming to look at it and condemning this and that on it to get the price down. I was honest with my description. I worked it out thus:- Refurbed engine -£60, no Mot -£30, no test drive - £50, tatty -£30, needed extra transport home - £30. So there you go. I hope you understand the price now. I didn't want to fiddle anyone or mislead them into thinking this was something special only for them to turn up and be disappointed."
I'm happy with the home it's gone to. It's going to remain a C90, a work horse, what it was designed for and will be looked after mechanically.
Farewell Nutty.
