Have you considered the V Strom 250, slower than the CRF250, but all the reviews say it's got better road manners as it has 17" wheels and is super comfortable....if i had the money or a wife that would let me i would get one.
Looks a nice bike that v strom 250.......it's just money side of things I'm afraid. I'm surprised it's slower than the crf, up until the 17 reg ones (which were updated) everybody moaned at its 18 bhp,,,,,although I'm guessing some what lighter than the v strom.

Im just going by the reviews ive read, seeing as the V strom has 25bhp, they must be talking about lower end power, as the V Strom can cruise at 70mph. At the moment Suzuli are doing 3% finace on it...im so tempted

A friend of mine has an NC700 and loves it and its DCT gearbox, he also bought an SH300 on the same day, likes that too!

I looked at the VStrom 650 a couple of years ago and decided that I didn't want an adventure styled bike. It does have a cracking motor though. I am totally biased (I have the same engine in K1 and K6 SVS's) and would consider the latest SV650 as well. My son has a 2009 Gladius which was really a sort of interim model and I have done about 500 miles on that recently. Very torquey engine which is just as happy pottering about as it is being wound up for a spirited ride. Surprisingly economical when ridden at Cub speeds too - at least 60mpg when in convoy with my CT.

I reckon it could be a bike for all reasons. :D

The nc700/750 is something I'm very interested in as well. I'm not sure if there will be enough peddle to seat legroom for me.....Too little and it aggravates my hip.....keep checking legroom out on that bike ergo site.
The engines sound lovely on them and the dct really appeals to me.

Make sure you have a decent test ride on the NC700/750 first. I thought the Integra would be my dream bike, but found the DCT really annoying, even when I switched to manual. Maybe I need a full day to get used to it.... or maybe not.

How about the Piaggio Beverly 350, if you want to stick with a scoot?

Personally, I keep coming back to the SH300, despite bigger bikes. They just do everything!

DCT does take some getting used to, around 100 miles before I started enjoying mine and got my head round it, the bike ergo site wont be as accurate as a test ride.

I know this is my third.....probably won't be my last.....said I wasn't going to sell this......it's lovely,,,,,but I get bored after a while. SH and innova take some beating in my eyes.
