Project's Thread.
Post your Monkey and other mini bike builds here.
Will start with some of the bike's i've built over the years.
My ST100 well ST70 but with a 98cc cub engine.
Had this on the road for about 16 years now.
My other ST70 one of the last 6v models on a V reg.
1970 Z50K1 fitted with a 88cc ST70 engine.
Another Z50K1 built using some of the bits from the other build as i had sold the frame by then.
Kids Z50R fitted with a 12v Jincheng M50 engine this was on the road on a W reg.
Another bike i had a hand in being built a Z50K1 with cub 90 engine done up as a Z50M.

Would that be Russ who built it or ferretdax i think it was that bought it from him?
Just found some photos of it being built.
At the time i was trying to build a CZ100 type copy from a Z50K1/2 frame but never finished it and sold the bits on,this was the set of forks i started to build using QA50 5" wheels,CF70 fork body with bits welded on and the top part of the bar risers made from cut down ATC110 fork legs.

I got a frame coming from the states in a few weeks , As im going to do a custom z50a , with discs all round(hopefully)
some nice builds you got there,

Re: Project Thread.
Yes was built with the stock Z50 hardtail forks as Russ didn't want to build a solid set like the Z50M.
Russ also made the seat brackets and the tail light/number plate bracket.

Re: Project Thread.
Heres a few I owned and /or built in the past.
The z50r was great fun to build and ride esp with the yx140 motor in .
The gold bike was a ornament more than a useable bike ,you only had to look at it ,and it got a mark on it .
The monkey with the gorilla tank on was bought as is , and gave me a few years pleasure riding .
Im currently working on a crf supermoto build which is in the c90 thread .

Re: Project Thread.
Russ sold it to Richie from Middleborough who sold it on after a particularly hair raising ride, which put him off 5 inch wheels for life
