2017 PLOP ENDURO (Round 2) THE ANGLESEY100

S&D Armada MCC have now finalised arrangements for the second Plop Enduro of 2017 and we can now confirm that once again we will have a 100 bike starting grid!
And entries are now open!!

The event will be held at Anglesey Circuit on Saturday 30th September.
This 8-hour Honda C90 Endurance Race will follow the same format as the previous ones with teams of up to 4 riders each taking part.
Cost of entry is £250 per team with an additional £30 if you need to hire a transponder from us. All details on the entry form.
Once again all the proceeds will be donated to various charities.

We've now opened entries so if you'd like to take part then please get your names down, either by snail-mail post to the address on the form or to graeme@sdarmada.co.uk for making on-line entry application.

The entry form and Rules/Regs are linked below.
Payment can also be made online by BACS or Paypal. Contact the same email address or pm me here for more details and for any other enquiries.

Its expected that this event will again be highly subscribed so its important to get forms and fees in as soon as possible.
It is only the completion of entry formalities which will guarantee a place on the grid.

Can't make this one, but I will be making a return on the next. Just gathering parts!

I see things have moved on, what's the preferred tyres these days? Wets?

I used me22s and m45's and both were decent.

Where have you finished?

Don't mind spending a bit more, want to be up the pointy end if possible! Best finish we had was fourth or fifth I think at Mallory in the wet.

I can remember speaking to you years back at Caldwell I think , we've never done that well but over the last couple of years the bikes have got a lot faster so be ready for a shock .

Hi,
To be fair to all would it be a good idea to only run one type of tyre say a M45 front and back 8-) It seems to me the more money you have to spend etc .When will the first Artic team truck turn up??I can see Plop racing going in a wrong direction very soon.

The organisers do their upmost Mrvon to keep a very level playing field, with the onus always being on it being a "cheap fun" event.
The bikes are very limited in what can be done to them within the rules, especially with regards to performance mods.
Also, as their is no prize money involved, there is little likelihood in people getting too carried away.
The tyre thing isn't really relevant as prices of those don't vary too much and its a mod which errs on the side of safety rather than performance anyway.
Thats something which we actively encourage.

BTW, my racing slicks cost me £20 each. Bargain!! :D
