Looks great, but your foot pegs are way too low. They'll touch down at the first sight of a corner, we tried some like that, they nearly chucked me off on the first test ride round the block

Footpegs are at the welders being moved up an inch. i did touch the footpegs down when we took it for a test.
Where did you get other higher footpegs from ? just incase the ones being welded dont work.
I have some original ones but the holes are in a different position on a lifan engine.
I will also have to weld the gear lever as i wont be able to get the bolt in if i lift it higher.

You can put the bolt in from the other way (one a bit longer ) then put a nut on it on the back side and it will still tighten up .

Did think about that Ian but was worried some aggressive gear changing might knacker the splints. Have had it cut and welded the other way round.
