the cub based engine in my dax sounds great with the right pipe.
that mtek exhaust will sound just as good.
any exhaust unlike the fart pipes on chavs corsa's will sound throaty and nice coz they the same size tube from head to exit.

Re: 1977 Honda CG125
Inverter came today. I will need to run my sat nav off it too as the specs though saying runs form 6v didn't :/
So battery is 6AH, inverter will use max 3 amp and output max is 2.5 amp. So looses 12% through heat etc...
I will only be using 1.05amp though.

Remember every amp that comes out at 12v equates to 2 amps going in at 6v. With losses there will be a little greater than a 2-1 ratio of in to out current.zippy wrote:

It's not a transformer inverter, it's solid state so more efficient.
It's ample anyhow
Going to put it in the 35mm case and have 2 holes so it's water proof

yes new owner,
will carry on the thread,
she has been layed up for a couple of years,
Im a bugger for not finishing my own projects ( I complete everyone else's.) so i sold my bobber and the cash went in to this nice CG125.
she is staying standard, and used ( patina look )
