Peugeot tweet 125

Post by Dilbert » Tue Mar 19, 2024 9:08 pm

I’ve been lurking on the forum for a while, originally looking for a c90 but a cancelled knee op and having a steroid injection that lasted about six weeks before the pain returned got in the way. Anyway a new 125 tweet at a local dealer caught my eye so a deal was done yesterday. Just the job ( I hope ) for two up trips to the footy through the traffic chaos of Southampton and some runs out in the new forest etc. any body had one on here?

Richie had one a few years back I think.

They look like a good deal for the price, so keep us updated.

Mines the 2023 model, newer ones have different lights and a USB port in the leg shield box. Job for the future to wire up a USB port ( battery’s under the foot boards ) oh and fix a phone holder on the bars.

I've just got a 2021 model......only got 2200 miles and had been treat harshly before being off the road for a year.Doesn't look a bad thing but I've not been out on it yet as I'm waiting for my insurance to renew to add it onto the multibike policy.Mine has the linked brakes and from the little trundles I've been on,up and down the drive, they seem VERY good...discs at both ends :-).
What I have found is that some parts are cheaper if you get them for the identical SYM model and this place is cheap and has quick delivery https://www.easyparts.com/

Pretty sure that the Sinnis Connect is essentially the same scooter too, maybe with slightly different plastics. It’s another source of spares if it is.

I heard about the similarities with the sym and Sunnis so might be handy but I’ve got 2 years warranty so ok at the moment. Putting Peugeot tweet into Amazon brought up a load of stuff mainly engine spares and 150/180cc big bore kits but I think I’ll keep mine standard though.

Might be worth a dedicated model post, like we have for various small Hondas, and the Suzuki Address/Avenis/Burgman 125s. 8-)
