dug the t80 out of the shed started up ok, but after i put some e10 petrol in it . i coulnt get it to tick over anyone had any problems with e10 , or do i need to look at the carb

I think the 'E' particles in the petrol can soften up rubber, so pull the pipe off and check for flow. If flows ok then filter etc.
BTW I have some lower fork parts from my T80, I was trying to rectify the bike pulling over to the near side, but never managed to find the slight fault (headstock bent).
I do like the CG and would have one in the garage, but prices are high. Yours looks good and the best of them.
Tight tappet, or carb needs looking at.

turned out to be the carb it was loose. tightened bolts up and all was well, but i drained the e10 out and filled up with e5 just to be on the safe side
