Post by davebike » Fri Jun 01, 2018 7:58 am

Hi

Ok !
Any one had any experience of these beasts I am very seriously considering a new one (will be my first brand new bike since 1976!)
I am looking new as I want ABS and lots of used are abused ! or "modified with a stupid loud pipe! I will tune but not pipe as I like quire I fancy bigger inlet tract throttle body and injector + fuel air meter and Bazas fuel inject controller I guess the warentee will expires very quickly !!

you input may help !

They're very robust and takes well to modification, I've seen bikes up to 190cc before. They're similar to the Innova's engine, so if you have any experience with those, these will be very familiar to fix.

I personally like the older body style like the above though, not a fan of the "3 blade" headlamp style, but just personal tastes.

For luggage, the later models are better. Panniers are an option owing to a low exhaust and the filler cap ring is conventional so allows a GIVI tanklock bag (plastic panels mean that magnetic bags are no good).

It worked Dave.

I think your going to attract every wasp for miles around, that’s what my yellow 2CV van did.
