Just a bit of advice on buying a well used S/H one of a young person, i joined the FB grom pages just to be nosey (as you do)
And most of them are into them just to wheelie, And having the oil pump at the front of the motor they are starting to see a few rattle issues.
Avoid a well used grom from a young rider with flash bits attached

Hmmm. You have a point. I do wonder whether it's our choice of thoroughfare?

Staying sunnyside up on a wet roundabout should be enough of a challenge.

A good mate of mine went to the German Dieselbike rally on a Grom....
He said his arse started hurting befor he got to Dover (lives in Horsham), only another 400 miles to go after landing on Calais.
Then there was the return leg....
Hi dave. That’ll be Stuart then! Yes I know him well. He loves that Grom. Big bore kit on his tho. I’m sure I’ll meet up with him soon!

but whats the seat like on a 50 mile ride
Ha yes! 50 miles was pushing it a little, I did need a quick stand up on the pegs and a wiggle at 30 miles as numb bum began to set in. But even at 50 miles it wasn’t much worse. Wouldn’t want to do more than a 60mile stint without a 5minute break tho. People do say the seat is hard on the newer Grom but I ride bikes all year so perhaps I don’t notice it as much as some other people would?
