on my loncin I got rearly excited when I did mpg test , I was getting well over 160 on a tank full , of 3.5 ltres , but not for long my mate pointed out the reading was kilameters
That is amazing with the fact a gallon of fuel is 4.56 litres.

Taking different routes, through town centers, traffic, roundabouts and speed cameras so a nice steady 30mph all the way then the following week country lanes, full throttle and no difference in mpg

That's my experience

My Address seems to be pulling about 90MPG urban, or 118MPG on a restrained, long run

How many stops at filling stations was that?

1 stop

when I do the journey on the '90 I top off at the local filling station, ride to the last petrol station on the A14 and then to my folks in caterham, normally have around 300mls of fuel left

on the return I hit the first petrol station on the A14 then similar 'reserve' when I get back

one trip on the innova to surprise my folks with a visit, they weren't in [surprise...] so turned around and came home, I was carrying a litre under my seat so thought I'd try my luck and rode to the OK diner at PE9 4AD, they have a petrol station there too so it was fill, pee and a tea

topped off 3.66 litres and had done 132 miles (actually works out 164mpg, it was 153 average for the trip)

really wish the innova had an analogue fuel gauge the thing was blinking for miles, the official capacity is 3.7 litres but I have holed the filler neck for a little extra capacity (cheers dave)

I've heard it's a pain to prime when empty so pleased I made it before running out

That's worth knowing. Do you use the Dartford Crossing?

yep

cross country to the A1, A1M, A14, M11, M25, dartford crossing, M25, A22

4 hours including fuel stops

the immediate return because of missing parents was not too uncomfortable considering
