Honda PX50s
Ok i had a ad running in my local free ads papers for a cub, but i since have found one, but the ad also said id be interested in any other quirky little bikes/peds so things like chally, dax, yamaha chappy etc and guy called today to offer me a pair of PX 50 honda peds from early 80's... apparently they are 2 stroke trials styled little things, i was wondering if any the forum users had came across these and ridden them? he is asking 250 for the pair. im tempted to get them for my nieces, a matching pair of peds for my 2 fav girls.

aye thats the wee things... quirky looking, like the b'astard offspring of a XL125 and a Cub.... lol think be worth hanging onto them and restoring them, parts seem cheap and plentiful piston kit... 14 quid, new engine bearings 5 quid complete, exhaust 50 quid... tyres are steep at 30 each... brakes 5 quid per wheel. here for the guys trying to fit knobblys to a cub, i wonder what size those px50 wheels are... 16 inch maybe, and knobbly tyres plentiful for em... surely the rims can be built up as cub wheels with a cub hub and the PX50 rims?

I like those Obviously a lot depends on condition but £250 for a pair of them if they're mostly complete & not too far gone doesn't sound bad at all.

Re: Honda PX50s
lol you guys keep throwing temptation at me... 70cc kits eh... bigger carb... modified Variator, better unrestricted CDI... mmmmmm... damn homer simpson moment there! i have looked around but cant seem to find the decal graphics avaialble anywhere, looked on reproductiondecals and sunrisegraphics... so aliengravy...Q... if i replicate these in say adobe illustrator.... could you print them off, pretty please at a reasonable price (pm me with any format requirements, and a rough idea of cost if ya can do it)
sidenote to the guys looking to fit knobblies to there cubs... if you can get these 16" rims, and lace em up to a cub hub... there ya go enough clearance for 275x16" and no need to butcher your mudguards etc
