New ride

this bike vibrates like no other, traveling at 60MPH i get pins and needles, open it up to over 90 and the world feels as if its coming to an end!

not for everybody i know but i am loving it

Blimey no wonder you're getting pins and needles. That seat is minimal. Has it had the top end worked on?

I once had a Kawasaki 750 twin in the workshop that was almost unrideable from vibration
After an engine strip down previous owner had put the balance countershaft in 180 Degrees out !

it's had a 707 big bore, and the 650 always was a vibrating bike due to the two pistons traveling together, this one however has had all the rubbers removed which would have helped a bit. and yes the seat is very minimal

many moons ago i did have a 750 twin kwaka, but i don't think there is any problem with the 650 besides it is what it is, i also have a triumph 5TA that does not vibrate as much.

if i park the XS on its side stand and leave it running on tick over it will shake rattle and roll just like the old XT500 used to do.

its part of the appeal, also makes me appreciate my gsx1400 as that rides like a rocket powered flying carpet.

That made me smile! If I leave the Buell running on the sidestand on a very slight download slope it falls over! Also makes me appreciate how smooth the F800 is (apart from handlebar vibrations).

Both bikes have ducted cooling fans which can result in SNS Syndrome as well.
