ZSB motor is very nice. Or I was also a fan, anyway!

The YBR motor you get in a Yamaha YBR will be every so slightly different to the Jianshe models that appear to use the same engine; I found this out the hard way a few years ago :(

A few of the local couriers are using YBR125s, the FI and the carb one, and they seem to be taking the beating pretty well. I'd probably prefer to pick up a YBR over an over-inflated, over-rated and now aging CG125. And I've owned a couple of CGs now! But they are a victim of their own myth.

I think a 2006 one was made in Japan, I had a new YBR250 in 2009 (made in Brazil), and the dealer showed me around a new YBR125 in the showroom, he thought it was now very poor quality.
So a assume a 2006 one will be very good Japanese quality, it has a kickstarter and electric starter, and no plastic around the tank. Should be a good one.

Didn't buy it, too much thought and not enough action on my part. Also was enjoying myself riding around the North.

Went to Minibike Craze yesterday. They have a YX140 semiauto, electric start, full package for about £350 which has started another train of thought!

Taxman has sent me a nice rebate which will cover that!

great bike!
i think, not so great as honda wave / innova, because of "motorcycle " type frame, where you cant put your rucksack between your knees, but anyway good.
one russian folk do many travels to europa / africa / dacar on ybr125, and now ride throught south/north america and canada on ybr250:
