Does VED change at 150 cc making it the same as a 90 ?Mbev51 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 08, 2017 8:31 amHi, I've been looking to replace my innova with a pcx 125. I occasionally toy with the idea of importing a s/h pcx 150 from Italy. I could stand the extra ved as long as insurance was about the same. Just would like that like bit extra to make two up work ok. Does anyone ride a 150 in the UK?

As far as I could determine it's in the ECU.

Yep, always paid the lowest rate on my old MZ150. Still the same.wightegi wrote: ↑Thu Jun 08, 2017 6:06 pmDoes VED change at 150 cc making it the same as a 90 ?Mbev51 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 08, 2017 8:31 amHi, I've been looking to replace my innova with a pcx 125. Re: PCX125 ?
I'd be surprised if someone doesn't sell a replacement ECU without the speed limiter, especially since the PCX has been around a few years now.

Re: PCX125 ?
Honda may well have done away with the feature - mine was one of the first to land in the UK and it was incredibly dangerous.
150 would be a really useful bike.

What about fitting to your Innova a 150cc barrel and piston from Greece, a cheap upgrade power boost !?! (Marked 125)

Re: PCX125 ?
The pcx 150 is actually over 150cc,mfrom memory 153, so it will be in the larger ved category. I would pay that if the insurance was similar to the 125.
