That is indeed a bold claim sir and I don't doubt you are right but can you expand a little?
So I have been getting Castrol 10/30 from the Honda dealer for 9 years when I could have used F/S 5/40 (car oil) at probably less cost?

^^Not car oil, but motorcycle oil.
I also run 40 weight (10W-40) in all my Cubs and have been doing so for 15 years. I've found my Cubs get a bit rattly with 30 weight.

There you go you see . For the past five years I have run all my small capacity bikes and scooters on the aforementioned 5/40 fully synthetic and yes it is CAR oil. All bikes running perfectly no clutch slip or any of that b****ks. I've saved myself a fortune as I was using Silkolene fully synthetic bike oil before. You live and learn as they say. I love an oil discussion . Oh the BMW R1200ST runs on 5/50 CAR oil. Loves it.

The last 4 lts of fully synthetic car oil was from a car boot sale Elf 5/40 that'll be £2.00 pr ltr container. Ta very much.

does anyone seriously know the difference between motocycle oil and car oil? besides what is titled on the bottle.

I mostly use car oil including Castrol magnatec , never had a problem.
