Horobags told me about 'motorcycle seatworks' in Bradford that can modify a seat to riders specification.

Anyone had one done there?

The website looks interesting

Is this the place you mean? I have never used them, just know they exist.

The satnav is my Samsung Galaxy phone with the Navfree app.

The mounting bracket attached to the mirror is one of these from Ebay 301731574175

The USB charger is one of these 222324199178 mounted alongside the bracket. The wires go through the grommet on the windscreen fixing and down to the ignition switch.

The case is 282223947568 which is as cheap as it looks and I may well get a better one. The nut that tightens the ball and socket broke as a did it up. The case has two zips, so it can be zipped up to either side of the charging lead. It's protected by the windscreen, so it should be pretty waterproof. It came to less than £30 and was dead easy to fit as I only needed to take off the front panel under the headlamp, to get at the ignition switch and feed the wires through.

The Galaxy phone has an outdoor brightness setting, making it pretty readable in bright sunlight. I might get a case for my Garmin Nuvii, which is a better satnav.
