Changing roller weights is not much more complicated than swapping front sprockets on a Cub to suit the rider's weight and riding conditions.
If you get the size right, sliders are the way forwards - they open up a little more gearing and help so much with the setup.Scootyman wrote: ↑Sun Apr 15, 2018 9:18 pmI’ve just changed the roller weights for Dr Pulley sliders in my 2017 Vision 110esp and what a difference it made. With my 18.5 stone lump on board it will pull me up long drawn out hills on my way home at 50 mph. I also cross the Forth road bridge every day and even In a strong headwind it will hold its speed at 50 mph.
I did try the sliders in an S Wing two years ago but wasn’t that impressed by them but with the Vision 110 there is a big difference in the way the little bike performs.
Well worth the money in my opinion

What weights did you put in, if you don't mind? I'd be dead interested to know
Thanks. I have 13g sliders on the way for my 200cc, which I think I might have gone too light on!Scootyman wrote: ↑Mon Apr 16, 2018 4:15 pmNo problem,
I used 13 gram Dr Pulley Sliders. The original weights were 15 gram in the 110esp scooters and 14 gram in the early Vision 110’s.
That 2 gram lighter per weight makes a world of difference. I’m sure normal weights would have a very similar effect. I just tried the Dr Pulley ones again to see if they would help and on this occasion they did.
Hope that helps

I once raced Bogger up Jeffrey Hill & he was only a bit faster on his C90 but I’m sure he had a had a Lifan engine in it.
At the supermarket I could get a case of Peroni in the footwell, a bag of shopping on the pillion as well as stuff in the locker & top box. The locker was ideal for keeping pies or fish or chips warm, I used to fill it with baked potatoes & give them out on the Blackpool Illuminations trip.
She was easy to clean- just washed like the car, no chrome to worry about. Easy to fit in the garage, tubeless tyres so punctures could be fixed with a moose kit, no chain to oil & adjust, nice warm feet & about 110-120mpg. Perfeck!
A superb little bike, future classic & a credit to Honda engineering.
x3 Although I had a Suzuki Address 110, all the above applied. It was functional perfection.Geoff from Preston wrote: ↑Sun Aug 06, 2017 6:54 amMy Vision was a beautiful little bike. 2nd only to my C90. Yours is the older step through model FL125, I'm guessing, though I've never seen the AN110 that your profile description mentions as well. The UK110 (2015 onwards) is 14" twist and go 113cc, just like the Vision 110
