My mate Mick has both a Silver and Gold Wing - matching colours, rides a 650 Burger since his hip op but still loves both. He has owned the Silver Wing since 1982. It is top heavy but I think he preferred riding it over the Gold.

He was probably checking for crumbs in there. His Grandson was using it at the time but he hasn't got secure enough parking for it (his MSX125 got swiped when it was 4 weeks old).
