Maxsym 400 tyres ?
Rear Bridgestone Maxxis Radial (OE) has worn out but the front is still ok.
Can't see that listed now so what should I get to give me the same performance. Im happy with the way it's been and I don't want to mix types if I can help it. TBH it's the "Radial" bit that worries me as I appreciate that it's a different construction to the more common cross-ply and it doesn't seem easy to find out about the construction of the current tyres Bridgestone list.
Size is 160.60 x 14.

Now Steve, you should remember those adverts form the 1970's about mixing radial and cross ply tyres; it would have been around your 40th birthday...

I would say don't mix the types but there are plenty of Maxi's riding around 'Darkside' using car tyres on the rear so ......

I've just looked it up on the MOT testers guide and it's not allowed to have a cross ply on the rear if you have a radial on the front. (must be for a reason)

Re: Maxsym 400 tyres ?
How many miles did it last for?
I only ask because Radials are supposed to last a lot longer - the same type I have on the Tiger lasted a mate all the way to Pakistan.

Re: Maxsym 400 tyres ?
I used Bridgestone radials on my Gilera Nexus 500. No issues, great tyres but rears didn't last too long.
