I thought that might be the case. One of my fellow Blood Bikers, who is in charge of the BMW RT bikes, swears by them.

Sadly my first pension money, due in two years, is all ready ring fenced for a campervan. BUT, by then the Triumphs will be cheaper. The days of me buying new cars or bikes are gone, become a cheapskate now.

Then again, I love the Thruxton R, fell in love with it at the DGR, but that would have to be a second bike. See you have me dreaming now

As swing axle cars are deemed 'unsafe at any speed'; I think this is quite apt for fatty's riding... :D

Since you took an 'advanced riders course' and passed!

If you ask the Essex advanced riders group about their 'attrition' rate they go on the defensive; basically they are worse than newbie 17-20 year olds. One ran into the front of a coach! all in the goal of 'making progress'.

Never!

Fatty's riding is exemplary, especially when it's "beer 'o' clock" and he's still 10 miles from the campsite! :D

PS: Actually I've never come across any bad riders on Cub runs. Maybe I haven't done the right ones yet! :D

PPS: I'm kind of leaning towards a Pan 13 now.

Davebike spends a lot of time on them as he has a few customers with high mileage bikes. Used as work bikes i think.
Maybe a good source of info ;)

ride a pan 1300 and you will buy it, as long as you can cope with the weight.( much lighter than a goldwing.)

Oh, does he ride a Gold Wing 15k+ miles per year and is tired of them wearing out the center prematurely?
