But at £3895 it's £1300 cheaper than the Yam, plus it's got an electric starter.

not the fact of it being a single but a 400 cc bike will do well over 100

Looks pretty good to me... Fuel injected, electric start, 25% more power than an SR400 and £1200 cheaper...And the peak torque is at 5500rpm so it'll feel good when it's revved. They claim 29 bhp and a 500cc Gold Star DC made about 39 bhp which converts to a 400cc with 31 bhp...And that's with a huge Amal GP carb, no tickover, and an exhaust note that kills small animals

i think it's a nice little bike, and I know Dave Angel, the owner of F2 and he's pretty straight ...So yeah.....Nice...

I noticed its got seimens EFI. This is about as good as you can get. They are a German company.
Something tells me that this is not your average Chinese bike. its unlike the chinks to use a top quality German EFI system
when they make their own systems for a lot less.
It could also be that the bikes are not Chinese but maybe they use a Chinese engine. I also see somewhere that it has an engine designed by a top Japanese company

The company is French and the bike is built for them by Shineray in China. the engine is a Chinese built Honda XBR 500 lump sleeved down to 400cc. it seems to be specced well with stainless fixings and so on. The Chinese CAN build stuff that is good, but you need to give them the specs you want...Looks like Mash, the French company have got them to build it to a decent standard.

There are twin cats in the silencers so it may well get a bit more pep with free flowing pipes....A couple of T120 slip on's perhaps...
