went to my mates aprrox 22 miles away did 20 and my ajs would not come out of 5th then went to second and would not go up then stupidly knocked it down to first,so got there for almost 2 miles in first.
the next day the bike was been a right pig to start but did so after about 5/10mins then would not accerate right till it warmed up (stick stuck in first) so rode it hone doing 30 to 40 mph with the engine reving right up had the fan going cause it was getting so hot got it was spitting more oil out then out then ever (it leaks from the bottom end)
took it apart today to find the rivets had failed on the selector fork so a £30 fix then found a chunk missing from the cover plate which looks to be the source of the oil leak (touch wood) and also because it is been a pain i have take the cv carbs off cause they started leaking quite abit
the only good thing the gear box seems on and so does the clutch
its only good thing is a got my little kinroad knocking about ready just hopefully it passes it first mot on tuesday
