Pah, Who needs a Cub?
Just bought myself a Yamaha Majesty 250 to add to the stable . That'll be the stable I'm also going to be sleeping in until Mrs Bogger has calmed down a bit. Can't wait to get it home, the Majesty that is not Mrs B. Me and Black Sheep Radical can now turn up for the cub runs astride our 250 scooters .

I can't visualize turning up at the Tesco supermarket in one of those 250 scooters, it just wouldn't look right somehow parked at the cycle stand looks good for touring though

Sad Mike turned up to the Matlock run on one of those 250's. Seemed to pull well 2up. I'm happy with my Cub, that other creation... Not sure about that, not as versatile as a Cub

Re: Pah, Who needs a Cub?
I did 1050 miles in less than 24 hours on my Majesty 250 (mk2 2000 model), it was more comfortable than my other tourer at the time, an ST1100. I remember that you need to remove the seat if you work on it, or everything gets trapped and you end up putting it back together and starting again.
It runs nice at 70mph and returns 70mpg in the process, something I like all my bikes to achieve.

Re: Pah, Who needs a Cub?
I could do with my Cub doing 70mph as well. If it could, I'd put up with 70mpg. In fact that's the consumption I get from my V90, which sadly, definitely does not do 70mph.

The under seat storage on the Majesty is humungous. Proper touring tackle .
