Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
Just had a random thought about fitting a rear rack to the super cub. Does anybody here have any experience with what fits a Rider's?

Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
Don't know about rear racks, but I have a Riders spine rack, exhaust and seat all fitted straight onto my C90G (1986), so chances are a cub one will fit a Riders Cub. Probably be worth a look on flea bay for a Riders one, bound to be cheaper!

The Rider's stuff seems to be dwindling on eBay these days but I did see some C90 racks for about £24 delivered.

Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
Well I finally got round to painting a red LHS panel white to use with the Super Cub.
I used the Poundland's finest white paint rattle can and it was just enough coverage for one side panel. Actually, I thought it would go further!
Will take a couple of pics to show the finished product when the weather improves.
Pity I can't use the other RHS panel (I bought a pair) as it's not deep enough to accept the electrical gubbins under the orginal one that's the same general style as the little cub type.

Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
Number plate bracket cracked
Its broken around the bolt area on both sides ,probably due to 30 speed humps on every trip out
Ive repaired it,but a square of strong double sided tape on the number plate to the rear mudguard would have stopped it cracking

Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
I found changing engine mounts to Honda ones stopped vibration significantly.

Forgot to say
Check your fuel lines ,mines 3 1/2 yrs now,the fuel line where it slides onto the tap inlet was split along the whole of the tap itself ,another 2mm it would have been leaking fuel straight from the tank itself onto the engine

I did notice some of the tubing under the leg shields was cracking on mine. It was air related from what I remember. Will need to get round to having another look. Might have been to do with the EGR system?

Riders may not be importing anymore but others will. I purchased my new Kayak Kainuo KN110-7A Super Cub from Ital scooters of Cheltenham yesterday and looking forward to it's delivery
