There is currently 2 new unregistered cubs in Sussex on Ebay for £500 each.
Seems a good deal for those that would!
Go search.

They do indeed seem a good deal. Very much doubt if they are 125s though. Seem to have the Zeths sticker on and the headset/light are the same as my white bike.

Someone in Herts recently had white ones up for £1200 plus £100 OTR charges. :o

The Riders Cub is not being used at the moment as Josh is still waiting for his licence and CBT.

Visited yesterday and was concerned that it had not been started since I dropped it there. Spent about half an hour kicking it, took the plug out, no spark. Gave up in the end and planned to pick it up in the van this week and get it going at home.

Woke up about 4am with the thought - the prop stand was down!! This catches me out on the Kayak now and again.

The stand caught me out a few times in the morning !
It might take 3 or 4 kicks instead of the normal 1 or 2 if you have been kicking it a lot with the stand down

No update on front brake shoes then?

If you don't start the buggers regularly, it does take a while to get them fired up in my experience. I jumped mine with the GSX-R battery and it was up and running in about 5 minutes. After that, if you start on a weekly basis it'll fire up immediately. There's a bit of a black art to getting the thing to start - I've not quite figured it out yet but cranking full throttle with choke on for a bit then letting the throttle off seems to let it cough into life and then die, then you build on that and off it goes but it still won't idle for a while.

Still waiting for Josh to buy the tyre so I can investigate.

The failure to start was all my own fault.

I need to take the brake pedal off of the Kayak as it took on a new shape on a Derbyshire byway, after hitting a rock.
