honda silverwing
I just couldnt resist it. With mrs horobags spending more time out with me on the bike, and with me having a Belgium trip booked for early next year, I popped into my local honda dealer to find he's got one silverwing left , now the integra has taken over, but with its tiptronic gizmo gearbox and no luggage capacity I still favour the old silverwing. He gave me practically what I paid for on my innova as part/ex, so the deal was done.
I love the innova , and sad to see it go, but with the c 90 as well I found I wasnt really using the innova. Its a bigger version of the 90, with a disc brake, but I prefer the 90, I dont know why, I just do.
The riding position on the silverwing suits my dodgy knees, 60 mpg, 600 cc, lots of luggage capacity and weather protection, Ideal for an old fart like me.

Re: honda silverwing
not my cup of tea but have ridden one a couple of times and very capable machines, fuel consumption found not great around town and if you want to make progress. Was also pillion several times and can vouch for passenger comfort. Most impressive I found were the brakes, especially in less favourable condition.

I do like those. I thought about buying one a while back, but talked myself out of it on the basis that I didn't use the Burgman I had.

Re: honda silverwing
My mate has one, bought to replace his Deauville, he says it's much better balanced (less top heavy).
I prefer my 250 Foresight as it's lighter and simpler to maintain - try doing the tappets on a Silverwing.
Very nice bike though.

Re: honda silverwing
hi
well done horobags, I too love my innova but it will probably go next year and be replaced with a cg125. I had a burgman 400, loved its carrying capacity, didn't like its weight and the centre of gravity with a pillion was far too high. I'm in france at the moment, the innova is on holiday wth me, it was transported here in my van, the roads here are fantastic for bikes. Enjoy your new bikes.
